Brayden is 24, owns a Bluetooth speaker the size of a small dog, and somehow does not own wedges. He will explain this. The explanation will involve "just bump-and-run everything" and a YouTube swing tip from 2023 that he half-watched at 1:4x speed.

He is louder than the hole requires and kinder than the first impression suggests. When the music dips on the green, it is because Brayden noticed you were putting — not because anyone asked. He will help look for your ball longer than he looks for his own. He will also lose his vape twice per round and find it on the 18th green like a miracle.

Brayden does not hate golf tradition. He just thinks tradition should have a playlist. If you tell him the speaker is too loud, he will apologize like a human and turn it down. If you tell him he needs wedges, he will nod, then bump-and-run from 90 yards anyway.

What's in the Bag

Illustrated field-guide diagram on the workbench. The itemized bag below is live; the overhead Golf Digest–style plate lands when the art does.
  • Driver: Current-ish big stick with an animal headcover of unclear species.
  • Irons: A Facebook Marketplace set. Three brands if you look closely. Two shaft flexes if you look closer.
  • Wedges: None. Official policy. Unofficial policy: 9-iron for everything inside 110.
  • Putter: Something cheap with a face that has seen gravel.
  • Audio: Bluetooth speaker, charged enough. Playlist: confident.
  • Pockets: Vape (lost), phone charger with no brick, energy drink (large), AirPods case with one AirPod.
  • Balls: A sacred Pro V1 sleeve for an "important round" (status: pending since orientation week), plus 11 found balls with trust issues.
  • Transport: Cart. The speaker needs a cupholder ecosystem.
Bag notes: Built for four hours of freedom and one good story. The clubs are optional; the aux cord is not.
